The first joint staff training in the scope of the project took place in Santander, Spain, from 29 May to 2 June 2017

Within the scope of the project, the first short-term joint staff training was conducted in Santander, Spain, from 29 May to 2 June 2017 with the participation of 21 staff from all partner organizations

The training was hosted by the project partner Permacultura Cantabria.

With this training, it was aimed to provide input to the current situation and needs analysis studies carried out in Turkey and the e-learning content to be prepared within the scope of the project. In this context, it was aimed to collect information about the current situation of pre-school institutions and pre-school teachers working in inclusive environments in Spain and throughout the European Union, observing working environments and exchanging ideas with teachers and authorities.

Before the training Permacultura Cantabria conducted in-depth interviews with pre-school teachers in order to provide information about the profile, working conditions, working standards of pre-school teachers in Spain along with, their preferred practices, in-service training opportunities and the e-platforms they used. The English version of the written document was shared with project partners before the training and was discussed with the participants during the theoretical parts of the training. During the practical part of the training, visits were made to pre-school schools in the Cantabria region. Roundtable meetings were held with the authorities and teachers of the institutions visited to provide more detailed information.
